It started as a student project
While studying at KU Leuven, Nima and Guillaume launched Simply Apply, a recruitment platform that matched computer science graduates with vacancies from VDAB. It was a side hobby next to their degrees, but it gave them their first real taste of building a product, talking to companies, and obsessing over how candidates land the right opportunity. The seed was planted long before Saply had a name.

Two graduations, two paths into HR tech
After graduating, Nima joined De Cronos Groep, where he optimised staffing processes using AI and saw first-hand how much manual work goes into preparing candidates. In parallel, Guillaume joined AHRS Group, part of Accenture, where he built an applicant tracking system from the ground up. Two very different roles, one shared frustration: the way recruiters present talent had not evolved in years.

The spark behind Saply
Back at the same table, the two co-founders kept coming back to one question: why are recruiters still rebuilding CVs by hand? In January 2024 the idea for Saply was born. Automate and elevate how candidates are presented by recruitment firms, in branded templates, in seconds, without losing the human craft. The first lines of code followed within weeks.

Selected for Start it @KBC
Saply was admitted to Start it @KBC, Belgium's largest accelerator. The programme opened the door to a network of founders, mentors, and operators who had built and scaled companies before. It gave Saply structure, sparring partners, and the conviction that there was a real market to chase.

First clients, first proof
With a working proof of concept in hand, Saply landed its first paying clients. Real recruitment teams ran real CVs through the platform every day, and the feedback loop sharpened the product fast. Hours of reformatting collapsed into minutes, and the first signs of true product-market fit appeared.

Guillaume joins full-time as CTO
After years of building together on the side and apart in HR tech, Guillaume joined Saply full-time as CTO and co-founder. His experience designing ATS systems shaped the foundation of Saply's platform, from secure architecture to integrations recruiters actually use. The founding team was officially complete.

Funded, accelerated, and in the press
Saply was selected for the imec.istart accelerator, widely regarded as one of Europe's top deep-tech programmes, and closed a €300K funding round from private investors shortly after. The story caught the attention of De Tijd, who featured Nima in their Jong Geweld series on the next generation of Belgian founders. A defining quarter for the company.

Saply is not a standalone tool, it works right inside the tools your team already uses. You can use Saply through our Microsoft Word Add-On, Google Docs Add-On, Gmail Add-On, and our Email Integration. On top of that, Saply integrates with leading ATS systems including Bullhorn, Carerix, and Spott. All integrations are included in every plan.
No, Saply does not store personal data. Information is processed only during requests and is not retained, ensuring full privacy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Yes! We use encrypted connections and secure cloud processing to keep your data private and protected. Since we don’t store personal data, there is no risk of long-term exposure.
Yes, you can integrate custom CV templates into your Saply account within 48 hours.
Each time you generate a new CV, one credit is used. Your plan includes a set number of credits depending on your tier. Need more? You can add extra credits directly from your plan settings.
On yearly plans, yes — your credits are available for the full year, so unused credits from one month carry over to the next. On monthly plans, credits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
Yes, all plans come with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel the trial before the first payment. You’ll get full access to all features in your chosen plan so you can properly evaluate Saply before committing.
